The Rumor Mill

The Dodgers have given Andre Ethier a contract extension, according to several sources.  The five-year deal is worth $85 million with a sixth year vesting option that could push the deal beyond $100 million.

MLBTR has gathered the various reports from Bob Nightengale, Jon Heyman, and Dylan Hernandez. Hernandez has the breakdown of the contract at: $13.5MM in 2013, $15MM in 2014, $18MM in 2015-16, and $17.5MM in 2017. The option for 2018 would be for another $17.5MM with a $2.5MM buyout.

The Dodgers are expected to finalize the deal on Tuesday.
