Tracking the Carlos Lee rumors...

- Ken Rosenthal tweets: Sources tell me and jonmorosi that deal would be Lee to ‪Dodgers‬ for Gould and cash. Dodgers await word on whether Lee will waive no-trade.

- One baseball official familiar with the discussions told ESPN.com's Jayson Stark that the Dodgers and Astros agreed on the framework of the trade before presenting it to Lee for approval. Although rumors have circulated about a 2-for-1 deal, the Astros would receive just one minor leaguer from the Dodgers. One name in play is righthanded pitching prospect Garrett Gould, who was abruptly scratched from his start Friday for Class A Rancho Cucamonga.

- J.P. Hoornstra tweets: MLB Network reported that Carlos Lee won't waive his no-trade clause. For what it's worth, James Loney had basically no reaction.

- Lee has told the Astros, though, that he doesn't want to waive the no-trade clause, a source told ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney. "I just told Jeff I want to see my options. I just want to wait and see what my options are," Lee said.

- Lee remains in the Astros lineup today, batting third.

- Scott Miller has it summed up best:  The Dodgers are talking with the Astros about a potential trade involving first baseman-outfielder Carlos Lee, sources said Friday night. The Dodgers, if Lee can be induced to waive his no-trade clause, would absorb most of the remaining $9 million on his contract, according to sources with knowledge of the talks, and send a low-level minor-leaguer to Houston.  

- Jon Morosi tweeted:  New development in ‪Dodgers‬ trade story: Garrett Gould, who could go to ‪Astros‬ in deal, was scratched an hour before game time (Friday).
