SportsNet LA launched Tuesday night as the exclusive new 24/7 TV home of the Los Angeles Dodgers that takes fans behind-the-scenes of the team and offers in-depth access into the organization, providing an immersive experience with never-before-seen content and thousands of hours of comprehensive Dodger programming. SportsNet LA has posted the entire debut episode of “Backstage: Dodgers” on www.ineedmydodgers.com for all Dodger fans. “Backstage: Dodgers” is SportsNet LA’s weekly behind-the-scenes documentary series that gives fans true inside access to the team from the first day of Spring Training through the last pitch of the season.
The episode takes fans to Clayton Kershaw’s home in Texas the day he found out he won the 2013 National League Cy Young Award and inside the Dodger clubhouse and the first few weeks of Spring Training. It also features behind-closed-doors access to Don Mattingly’s first Spring Training meetings, unique behind-the-scenes moments with A.J. Ellis, Dan Haren and Paul Maholm and a special segment showing how the Dodger clubhouse attendants prepare for Spring Training.
Starting March 6, new “Backstage: Dodgers” episodes will debut every Thursday and weekly episodes all season long will keep fans updated on of-the-moment Dodger news and happenings, following players, coaches, executives and Dodger legends inside the clubhouse, outside of the stadium and more.
